Purpose: The National Black Growers Council will continue empowering farmers to adopt best management practices while building the marketing skills, strategies, and capabilities needed for long-term success. To maximize both production and market performance, enrolled farmers will receive financial incentives to hire crop consultants and brokers who can provide specialized expertise and guidance. In addition, student interns from in-state colleges and universities will contribute valuable support by helping develop effective marketing plans and identify promising value-added product opportunities.
